WEEK 8 & 9:: PCB DESIGN & ETCHING

  This is the PCB circuit for our project. We design the PCB circuit using ExpressPCB software.


 We print the PCB circuit on a transparent paper using a laser jet printer.

PCB UV Board GS1015 (Kinsten) 
We used UV PCB Board for our project. We cut the board to match the size that we wanted.

We expose the UV PCB Board using the light from the UV Box below for about 120 seconds.
    
After exposure, we put the PCB in a solution of sodiumhydroxide (NaOH + water) for the drawing of the layout to become clearly visible on the copper.


We etching of the PCB in a Ferric Chloride acid solution (Fe2CL3 + Water)
